Giving back to the community is one of the core values at SenSource and each quarter the team at SenSource likes to volunteer their time within the community.
For the first quarter of 2019 they volunteered with Project MKC, in Boardman, and helped to wrap thousands of diapers into smaller packages. These packages are then given to partner agencies in the Northeast Ohio area to then be given out to families in need.
Project MKC recognized that many of the programs created to help those in financial distress do not provide diapers. Today they distribute over 34,000 diapers a month to their partner agencies throughout Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana Ashtabula and Summit counties. Aside from the diaper bank, Project MKC has a number of other programs designed to benefit the children within the community such as their comfort kits and hope totes, school tutoring programs and summer food programs for children.
