Having a strong connection with the community is something that SenSource strives for. Each quarter they hold a food and toiletry drive within their office to benefit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.
The Rescue Mission housed over 42,000 people last year alone and served many more meals. They are 100% privately funded and rely heavily on the generous support of their community. The Rescue Mission is always in need of non-perishable food or toiletry items to help the many people who are housed at the mission.
The Rescue Mission continues to work towards building a new, larger building in Youngstown to house and feed those in need. Their current building is 85 years old and is in deteriorating condition. As they strive to move their mission, the SenSource team is working hard to help collect the daily necessities for their residents to ease some of the burden.
This quarter the SenSource team was incentivized to participate in the drive by offering breakfast or lunch to employees after reaching their goals each week. They were able to raise a bin full of food and toiletry goods during the month of July.
