Community involvement is integral to the culture at SenSource. Each quarter the team makes it a point to volunteer their time with a local, non-profit organization. For the month of May the SenSource team volunteered their time with Making Kids Count in Boardman.
Making Kids Count strives to provide a helping hand to children and families who may be in need. They are able to focus on the individual needs of the children with the help of volunteers and have created a number of programs to give back to the community. These programs range from the diaper bank, to comfort kits and hope totes, to tutoring and summer food programs for children.
During their volunteer time, SenSource helped to bundle diapers for the diaper bank. Making Kids Count receives periodic deliveries consisting of thousands of diapers which all need broken down and bundled according to type and size so they are ready for distribution.
