Library Works Recognizes SenSource as Multiyear Platinum Honoree in MLA’s

SenSource is excited to have been recognized for their platinum distinction for the fifth year in a row. The SenSource intelligent imaging people counter series was recognized by the LibraryWorks, Inc. Modern Library Awards (MLA’s).

The MLAs were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. Products and services were submitted in the fall using a simple application, and then were posted on a private site with an enhanced description and attendant materials. These products were batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic, and special libraries. Only customers with experience with these products/services in their facilities were permitted to judge the products/services, resulting in a truly unbiased score.

The ClearCount Series Intelligent Imaging People Counters use various tracking technologies, such as 3D Video and Thermal Imaging, to provide the industry’s most accurate people counting systems under a broad set of environmental conditions. This line of products is ideal for wide openings, dynamic lighting, complete darkness, heavy traffic areas and various traffic patterns. It is also able to sort and omit objects based on height and shape including children and shopping carts.

One of the judges was so happy with their SenSource people counting system they had this to say, “When we upgraded to this – we realized how bad our other gate counter really was – we were missing on average 100 patrons per day!”
