As 2016 comes to a close the team at SenSource wraps up their final corporate volunteer activity of the year. For the fifth year in a row SenSource teamed up with Making Kids Count and adopted a family from the Mahoning Valley community. The team always enjoys this time of year and giving to those less fortunate. SenSource was able to collect a tree full of toys and necessities for the family in addition to nearly $300, which went towards purchasing additional toys for the children. The SenSource team was very active this past year. Each quarter the marketing team would prepare a hot breakfast in the office in exchange for donations to benefit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. This year they were able to raise $2,000 in cash donations in addition to donated food and toiletry items. In March all of the funds that were collected went to sponsor Richard Blair who was running in the Boston Marathon which also benefit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. Besides raising funds and donations throughout the year the SenSource team likes to volunteer their time in the community. They had the pleasure of serving lunch with the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, as well as, spending time with Big Reach Center of Hope. SenSource spent two separate days with Big Reach organizing their warehouse and assisting with distributions, interacting with the community members first hand. The Sen Source team is currently planning their 2017 calendar of events but is anticipating another successful and eventful year.
