SenSource takes great interest in helping their community in a number of different ways through the year. The SenSource team once again had the opportunity to volunteer their time at Big Reach Center of Hope in Greenford, Ohio on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017. Tuesday morning’s are always a distribution day at Big Reach which means they open their doors to the community to walk through and receive the gift of prayer, food and clothing for themselves and their immediate family members. That day Big Reach opened their doors to roughly 30 families from the community. Families are first checked in, then they are allowed to relax and converse in the cafe where they may also help themselves to complimentary coffee, water and refreshments as they wait to enter the distribution lines. Once families are finished in the cafe they move onto the food pantry where volunteers, like the members of SenSource, are ready to assist clients through the line. Families receive a specific quantity of food based on their family size and volunteers help to maintain this structure as everyone walks through. Family members are lastly welcome to go through the clothing area where more volunteers are ready to help find proper sizes or items for each clients need.
