900Mhz Battery Powered Directional Sensor |
The PCW-2TB07-FS is a battery operated dual infrared beam interruption sensor/counter with a 900MHz radio
transmitter and sensing distances up to †25 feet. The sensor/counter will accumulate and transmit separate
counts values for IN and OUT traffic. The sensor consists of two parts; the IR transmitter (TX) and the IR receiver
(RX). Both units are sealed for indoor or outdoor applications. The IR receiver has an integrated radio transmitter
for truly wireless installation and operation. The sensors use pulse IR technology to reduce interference from any
external source of ambient IR light. This allows the IR sensors to operate in almost any ambient lighting
conditions. All counts are totalized and stored in memory. Once every 120 seconds the totalized counts are
transmitted via the integrated radio to a PCW-SSRX Sensor Server or PCW-RTX4.9.9 Repeater.
Your network is protected - Wireless transmission is strictly for serial data retrieval from PCW Series
sensors/counters. The RF signal does not communicate with wireless networks in any way nor can it be
accessed with wireless routers or wireless network cards since it operates on a completely separate and
proprietary RF signal protocol.
The product is ideally suited for applications where running cables are not desirable, cost prohibitive or not
practical. Typical applications include: shopping centers, casinos, retail and hotels. |
