PC-THI60
Thermal Imaging Counter with 900Mhz Data Transmitter

The PC-THI60 uses thermal imaging technology to count visitor traffic from above an entry/exit. State-of-The-Art technology enables this counting system to monitor multiple people entering and exiting at the same time. It is ideal for wide openings and/or heavy traffic areas or areas where side mounting is not an option. It functions as a digital video camera seeing only Infra-Red radiation emitted by people passing underneath the sensor. The sensing area is a square on the floor whose width is approximately equal to the mounting height; at 3.5m the unit 'sees' a 3.5x3.5m square on the floor. Mounting height ranges from 2.5m (8ft) - 4.5m (14.75ft) can be covered with the standard lens. A 40° field of view lens, offers mounting heights over 20ft. Units may be used as single counting nodes, linked into networks of up to 50 individual units or configured to span a wide opening. In the wide opening mode up to 8 units are linked to span the wide opening and will appear to the user system as a single counter unit with a wide 'footprint'.

Data is transmitted to a 900Mhz Sensor Server (PCW-SSRX9 - See below for additional information) located up to 1200ft away (1 mile LOS)

Optional Sensor Server:
Whether you're counting people, parts, or vehicle traffic, the Sensor Server processes and serves data received from up to 100 wireless PCW series sensors equipped with an RF transmitter. Data can be automatically or manually downloaded from one or more local and remote Sensor Servers to one central PC (see page 4). Historical data logs contain information to identify each location and each specific sensor within a location along with date and time stamps. The Sensor Server contains battery backed RAM and is fully configurable both locally and remotely. Server and sensor status with current accumulated counts can be easily viewed in near real time. Communication is established via Ethernet TCP/IP or serial RS232 protocol. Server Manager software provide an easy way to configure, monitor, and generate reports from one central location.

Features:

  • Centralized remote or local reporting
  • 900 MHz Receiver
  • Supports all PCW Sensors with RF transmitters
  • Communication via Ethernet (TCP/IP) or RS232
  • Data Logger creates date/time stamped historical data logs of sensor counts
  • Web Server – Browser page displays current status and sensor counts
  • Monitors 50 directional sensors
  • 8600 Historical record capacity (approximately 1yr. of data at 1 hour intervals)
