PCW-TB06XL Series: How To Turn On, Off, and Reset

Note: The RX units are distinguished from the TX units by the LCD Display.

Steps
» RX Unit (Refer to demonstration videos for visual steps. Windows Media Player is required.)
  • Turn On - Watch Video
    • To turn on the RX unit, hold down the Programming Button until the LCD display resets to zero (approx. 4 seconds).
      • The display will stay at zero until the beam is broken.
  • Turn Off (Standby) - Watch Video
    • To turn off (put in standby), hold down the Programming Button for at least 8 seconds, then release.
      • When off, the RX’s LCD display will increment by one integer every second.
    • By default, the RX unit is off to lower energy usage and to prevent radio transmission during shipping.
      • If the unit will be stored for extended periods, turning it off will prolong battery life.
  • Reset Counter - Watch Video
    • The LCD counter and the internal 24-bit counters will reset each time the Programming Button on the RX unit is pushed and held for more than 4 seconds.
      • Release the button as soon as the LCD display returns to zero to avoid turning the unit off.

  • Turn On - Watch Video
    • To turn on the TX unit, hold down the Programming Button for four seconds, then release.
      • If the unit was off, the LED indicator will flash rapidly when the Programming Button is first pressed and held.
      • After four seconds, the LED indicator will be solid and noticeably brighter – release the button.
  • Turn Off - Watch Video
    • To turn off (put in standby), hold down the Programming Button for at least 8 seconds, then release.
      • The TX unit will flash when the Programming Button is momentarily pressed, or held for less than 4 seconds.
