- Check the SS-TD10 Sensor
- When an object moves into the detection area, does the red LED indicator flash?
- No: Verify the 9V battery is functioning.
- Low batteries can also cause extra counts, in addition to no counts.
- If the battery is dead, the LED will not illuminate at all.
- Does the red LED indicator flash when nothing is in the detection area?
- Yes: Verify the 9V battery is functioning.
- Low batteries can also cause extra counts, in addition to no counts.
- If the battery is dead, the LED will not illuminate at all.
- Is this a new installation?
- Yes: There may be a positioning issue, or the sensor may be set to an incorrect detection pattern. (Refer to the SS-TD10 Manual.)
- Is the sensor in range of the receiver? (1000’ line of sight.)
- No: Move the receiver to within 1000’ (line of sight) for a functioning transmitter range.

Check the PC-Display (PC-PIR15-D)
- Does the counter on the display increment when a connection is created between the IN and – terminals (with the power supply connected to the display, use a piece of wire or paperclip to create the connection - several moments - and then breaking it)?
- No: Try the IN and + terminals.
- Check the PCDL-1000 Count Recorder (PC-PIR15-R)
- Does the count recorder software display counts when the circuit is completed (use a piece of wire or paperclip to complete the circuit on the green (phoenix) connector – refer to PCDL-1000: All Zero Counts for steps)?
- Check the SS-RC10 Receiver
- Does the chime ring, but the counter doesn’t increment?
- Yes: The output mode may have changed.
- To change the Output Mode, press Switch 1 two times within two seconds. Then press Switch 2 to cycle through the options.
- No Output: ●○○○
- Regular Mode with 1 second pulse on output: ●●○○
- Regular Mode with 5 second pulse on output: ●○●○
- Regular Mode with 30 second pulse on output: ●○○●
- Regular Mode with 60 second pulse on output: ●●●●
- Utility Output Mode: All red indicators will flash.
- Could the settings have changed?
- Yes: The simplest solution is to restore factory settings and re-detect the TD10 sensor(s).
- Restore factory settings by holding switch 1 while applying power.
- The RC10 will automatically restart in Learn Mode. (If the RC10 is not in Learn Mode, hold down switch one until the power indicator starts to flash.)
- Wave your hand in front of the sensor to teach zone 1.
- If there are addition sensors and zones, use switch 2 to go to the next zone. (Corresponding indicator will flash to indicate zone. All three indicators indicates zone 4.) Wave hand in front of corresponding sensor.
- Repeatedly press switch 2 to until all zone indicators are off to return to normal operation status.
- Check the wiring
