Symptom |
| Presets programmed into the SC-6300 Series LED displays, such as Reload Time or Display Format, are lost when switching modes, e.g. from Countdown Timer to Wall Clock, and then back to Countdown Timer. |

Cause |
| The Quickset options (menu 160-169), although a quick and easy way to change modes, reset the unit to factory defaults - erasing all presets programmed into the display. |

Resolution |
To change modes, while retaining presets, use the Behavior options (menu 210-215). Behavior options are as follows:
- 210 - Wall Clock
- 211 - Count Up Timer
- 212 - Count Down Timer
- 213 - Slave Display
- 214 - Unit Counter / Take-A-Number
- 215 - TAKT Time
